The organic control systems in place include strict production standards, accreditation of certifiers, certification of plantation processors, and finish product manufacturing. Organic regulations include organic system plan requirements, recordkeeping requirements, comprehensive process audits, and inspections that trace organic products from the market to plantations. There are numerous other considerations compromising ethics and standards which require the integration of cultural, biological, and mechanical practices that foster the cycling of resources, promote ecological balance, and conserve biodiversity.
